Anthony Vance Elam

On Tuesday, June 15th, Anthony Elam, aka Big T, loving husband, father of two children passed away at age 74. He was born on July 17th,1946 in Los Angeles, CA to Curtis Elam Jr. and Doris Elam. He was survived by his wife Grace of 39 years, his two children, Shelby and Shalee. He spent most of his childhood in Lake Elsinore. Big T graduated from Elsinore High School in 1964 and enjoyed playing basketball, sporting his #32 jersey and awarded the most valuable player. He went on to work at Davis Wire in Irwindale for 31 years. His pride and joy was his 1965 Chevy II Nova which was gifted to him my his father at the age of 18. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Big T. He had an uncanny ability to find happiness in his daily activities and his pleasant personality was contagious to everyone he met. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, his dogs, entertaining others, singing, along with cheering on his favorite sports teams. Big T was the life of the party, you could always find him dancing and singing along to his favorite oldie songs. Followed by Big T’s whishes there was a celebration of his life however, no services will be held.
