Cecilia Margaret Morrison

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Cecilia Margaret Morrison of Rancho Cucamonga, California. Cecilia entered into rest at the age of 96 on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. Cecilia was born in Youngstown, Ohio on May 20, 1928 to Valentine and Mary Hlebovy.

Cecilia served as a secretary for a government manufacturing vendor, during which she was entrusted with a variety of administrative and organizational responsibilities.

Cecilia was a dedicated parishioner at St. Peter St. Paul Church in Alta Loma, California, where she actively participated in the life of the congregation for many years. Known as CeCe, she enjoyed gardening, baking Christmas cookies, word search, bingo and her morning coffee. Her Ohio family is deeply grateful for the care and love provided by staff at Sunlit Gardens Assisted Living, Acacia and Allied Hospices and her great friends, Sharon Nelson, Anna Martin and Momi Robertson.

Cecilia is predeceased in death by her husband, Earl A. Morrison; brothers, Valentine and Clement Hlebovy; and sisters, Mary and Dorothy Hlebovy. She leaves two nieces and three nephews, who reside in Ohio.

A visitation for Cecilia will be held on Friday, February 14th at St. Peter & St. Paul Catholic Church (9135 Banyan St, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91737) at 11:00am, followed by a funeral mass at 12:00pm. A committal service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery (22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518) at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, family encourages making a donation to a non-profit organization or church.
