Leo entered the United States Marine Corps at just 17 years old. After returning home, he completed his schooling and went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree. He continued his service to his country with a job at the Department of Defense and retired after dedicating 30 years.
He was married to MaryAnn, and throughout his life he valued his wife and family. Leo is survived by his wife MaryAnn Saldana; his children Steven, Angela, and Maryann; his grandchildren Carly, Daniel, Brian, Rachel, Damon, Eddie, Trecia, Andrew, and Mia; his 13 great grandchildren and 1 on the way.
In quieter moments, Leo found enjoyment in drawing and singing, and he also took pride in following the LA Rams and Dodgers, simple pleasures that brought familiarity and connection across the years.
