David James Anderson

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of David "Dave" James Anderson. David entered into rest at the age of 88 on December 14, 2025. David was born on October 25, 1937, in Los Angeles, California, to Chester and Catherine Anderson.

David will be remembered as a man who found joy in the open road. He loved car racing and going on drives, always appreciating the simple freedom of being behind the wheel. When asked how he was doing his familiar reply was, “Same ’ole, same ’ole.”

To those who knew him best, David was a hero. He showed up when it mattered, offered strength without asking for recognition, and deeply loved his family and friends. His loyalty, courage, and genuine spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

David's memory will live on in the stories shared, the roads traveled, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

David is survived by his children, Debra Womack, James Anderson, Michael Anderson, and Melinda King; sisters and brothers, Charlotte O'Brien, June Frawley, Tom Anderson, and John Anderson; as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at Draper Mortuary, located at 811 North Mountain Ave, Ontario, CA, 91762, on January 8, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Following the funeral service, a Celebration of Life will take place at the same venue from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

The committal service will be held at Bellevue Memorial Park, 1240 W G St, Ontario, CA, 91762, on January 8, 2026, from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
