

Edward E. Lopez was born on October 13, 1940 to the late Dionicia and Melecio Lopez in Phoenix, AZ. He was the youngest of 6 brothers, Ramon, Paul, Phil, Richard, and Ruben. He had 3 sisters Linda, Rafaela and Rose.
Edward Passed away at the age of 80 years old on September 28, 2021, at his home in Chino, CA
surrounded by his loved ones.
Edward is predeceased by his daughter Lisa Lopez, who passed away on April 6, 2013. He is survived by his children, Edward Jr., David, Gina, Brenda and Vincent. He was a grandfather to 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
At the Age of 16, Eddie enlisted in the US Army and served as a paratrooper in the elite 101st Airborne division "Screaming Eagles".
Eddie moved to California in the early 1960's where he started his family and worked as a bartender. Eddie then left for Las Vegas, NV to work at the original MGM Casino as a bartender. Eddie eventually returned to California where he began his career in the produce industry as a Foreman/ Dispatcher.
Our Dad retired in 2002 and settled in Baja, CA with his loving K9 companion Max. This is where he gained his name "Baja Ed". Eddie enjoyed playing golf, spending time at the gym, and walks on the beach with Max. He also enjoyed Casino trips, football, poker, horse racing and playing the lottery.
Our Dad's happiest moments were spent being with family. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports and Sunday dinners.
We will truly miss his smile and his sense of humor. Until we meet again.
