

Elvira Cabello Banuelos was born in Huanimaro, Guanajuato, Mexico on July 14,1944 to Donato Cabello Rios and Margarita Martinez Garcia. She spent her early childhood in Huanimaro, Guanajuato, Mexico. She then moved to Mexicali, Baja California with her family. In 1968 she met her spouse, Juan Banuelos in Mexicali, Baja California. They moved to Southern California in 1975 and went on to have three children.
Elvira is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Juan Banuelos; Her daughter, Xochitl; Her son, Simon & wife Sommer; and grandchildren Ariana, Simon II, Mylie and great-grandchild Isaiah. Our mom is now resting in peace with our older brother Efren who went before her.
She had incredible patience, always made time to help others, and was loved by everyone. She loved her family dearly; they were the light of her life. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, godmother, and friend. She touched the lives of so many people. She will truly be missed and will never, ever, be forgotten.
A visitation for Elvira will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Draper Mortuary, 811 North Mountain Ave, Ontario, CA 91762. A rosary will occur Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM, 811 North Mountain Ave, Ontario, CA 91762. A funeral mass will occur Friday, March 24, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at St. George Catholic Church, 505 N. Palm Avenue, Ontario, CA 91762. A committal service will occur Friday, March 24, 2023 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Bellevue Memorial Park, 1240 West G Street, Ontario, CA 91762.
