Over the years Mom gave us many gifts. The best ones were those that came from her heart and her hands, like chicken soup and lasagna. She was the loving thunder of a strong Sicilian woman, and she made us feel loved everyday.
Her life was an inspiration. It wasn't always easy. She sacrificed and worked very hard. Together with Dad, she taught us many important lessons: to have adventures, be strong and never be afraid. But the most important wisdom is to always value family and friends. We will pass down their stories, recipes and traditions, and our Italian heritage is a treasure we cherish.
Mom, no words could ever be enough to tell you how important you are, and how much you are loved. Thank you for your life, thank you for our lives, thank you for your love.
