

Larry Gene Miethe passed away peacefully at his home in Fontana, California, after a long and courageous battle with prostate cancer. He was born on September 28, 1951, in Clinton, Indiana, to Billie and Rosemary Miethe.
A 1969 graduate of Ladoga High School, Larry went on to build a long and dedicated career in the wire industry, working in Crawfordsville, Indiana, and later in Southern California.
On December 12, 1970, he married the love of his life, Janis Linn of New Ross, Indiana. Together, they shared a beautiful life and raised three daughters: Shannon Marie Urmanski, Heather Sue Miethe-Wong, and Ashley Linn Duran, along with their devoted sons-in-law Roy Raymond Urmanski and Gerry Wong
Larry was a proud grandfather to Justin Miethe, Jacob Urmanski, Trinity Templeton, Brittany Paulson, Christopher Paulson, Jared Urmanski, Blake Duran, Brooke Urmanski, Kash Duran, Tenley Wong, and Taelyn Wong. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Blaze Urmanski, Jagger Urmanski, Aurora Urmanski, and Finn Paulson.
He is survived by his wife, Janis; brother, Billy Miethe and sister-in-law, Patty Miethe of New Ross, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Paula Miethe Barber, and brother Terry Lee Miethe.
Larry will be remembered for his deep love for his family, his strong work ethic, and the quiet strength with which he faced life’s challenges. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
