Lela Lucille Crowell

Lela Lucille Crowell, age 73, of Rancho Cucamonga, California passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022. Lela was born October 8, 1948 to Thomas and Myrtis Crowell. She had a career as a microelectronics soldering technician for General Dynamics, Raytheon and Biomet, Inc. for over 15 years. As an avid seamstress and while her children were young, she enjoyed designing and sewing clothing for them. Later in life, she loved spending time with friends and especially liked traveling throughout the Inland Empire to play bingo at the various casinos in the area. She was also known to love her trips to Stateline and Las Vegas to do the same. Although she had fun with friends, it was her family that was most important to her and she loved spending her time with them—watching and sharing stories about old movies and TV shows.

She is survived by her children, Mark Carter, Katrina Easley and Kristina Mahoney. Left behind to cherish the memory of their grandmother are her grandchildren, Cammeron Carter, Kyaira Carter and Allana Mahoney.

A memorial service for Lela Crowell will be held on August 19, 2022 at 11 AM, at Draper Mortuary, 811 N Mountain Ave., Ontario, CA, 91762. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made in honor of Lela to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at https://www.stjude.org/.
