Lynda Sue Curley, 63 of Claremont, CA passed away from cancer on November 5, 2010 surrounded by her sons in her home in Hemet, CA. She was born in San Diego on April 17, 1947 and grew up in Ontario, CA with her parents Robert and Loretta Crawford and her brother Fred. She spent her carefree youth throughout California, from the beaches of San Diego to the steep streets of San Francisco.
Later, she was a devoted homemaker and mother in addition to working as a school teacher at Vista Del Valle Elementary in Claremont. She received a bachelor's degree and teaching credential from Cal Poly Pomona in her 40s while raising her
two young sons as a single mother. She devoted herself to teaching and instilled the spirit of learning in the students in her classes. She also enjoyed her hobbies of reading and quilting, and will be missed dearly. She is survived by
her two sons, Kevin Curley and Shawn Curley.
Memorial services will be at 3:30PM on Friday, November 12, 2010 at Draper Mortuary, 811 N Mountain Ave, Ontario,
CA.
