Marla Del Rio

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Marla Del Rio of Fontana, California. Marla entered into rest at the age 40 on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. Marla was born in Temple City, California on June 19, 1984 to Mary and Larry Del Rio. Marla had one brother, Michael and two sisters, Janet and Robin. Marla graduated with a High School diploma and worked for a company making boxes, activity programs and outings. After Marla's mother passed she lived with her cousins Tom and Phyllis, who loved her as their own and called her their Bonus Child.

Marla enjoyed reading her bible, word search books, working on math problems, and playing basketball. She loved telling stories about her mother, singing, dancing, and watching, The Golden Girls, Walker, and The Lion King. She always had quick comebacks, a great sense of humor and making sure everyone felt loved.

Marla is survived by her cousins, Tom and Phyllis, siblings; Robin, Janet, Michael, nieces, nephews, and cousins, friends and pets, Molly, Jack and Ollie.

A memorial service for Marla will be held Friday, August 16, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Draper Mortuary, 811 North Mountain Ave, Ontario, CA 91762, followed by a reception from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
