Marlene was born on December 5, 1976 in San Gabriel, California to parents John & Arlene. She then entered into rest on March 25, 2026 after 49 bright years of life.
Marlene found her greatest peace within the walls of her church, where faith was not just something she practiced, but something she lived each day. At home, the gentle sounds of Christian gospel music were a constant presence, filling her days with comfort and praise.
Outside of her spiritual life, she found simple happiness in life’s everyday comforts. She loved spending time at the beach, where the sound of the waves brought her calm and contentment. She also enjoyed unwinding with her favorite shows and films, especially Friends and Titanic.
Marlene was incredible cook whose meals brought everyone together and made even ordinary days feel special. But above all, family and friends will remember her as the outstanding mother she was to her children.
She was beautiful, smart, and a true fighter, facing life’s challenges with courage and grace. Her loving heart and natural sense of humor brought light and laughter to those around her. Her care and devotion shaped the lives of those she loved, leaving a lasting legacy of warmth, faith, resilience, and unconditional love.
A visitation for Marlene will be held on April 24, 2026 at Draper Mortuary, located at 811 N Mountain Ave, Ontario, CA, beginning at 10:30am. The funeral service will directly follow, beginning at 11:30 am at the same location.
After the service, a graveside committal will be held at 1:00pm at Bellevue Memorial Park, 1240 W G St, Ontario, CA 91762.
