He is survived by his niece's and nephew's. He was a beloved uncle and kind friend. Always willing to help others and offer sound advice to those he loved.
During his life he sought out knowledge of the world around him, always wanting to learn new things.
He earned a master's degree and spent many years as a school teacher, a profession he truly loved.
He was an avid gardener, most of his spare time was spent in his yard growing flowers and an assortment of fruits and vegetables which he would share with his neighbors.
His other great love was his daily walks. He walked 5 miles a day, come rain or shine. His favorite place to hike was Murphy Ranch Trail. It's been described as a beautiful and peaceful hike. He often took pictures while on his hike. IT was a special place to him that he visited often.
The funeral will be Wednesday September 20, 2023 at Bellevue Memorial Park starting at 10:30am
