Nannette Marie Chavez, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished family member and friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 57. She was the beloved wife of Ruben Chavez for 34 years, a partnership built on love, strength, and unwavering commitment.
Born and raised in Southern California, Nannette carried with her a strong work ethic and a generous heart throughout her life. She was a hard-working woman who never hesitated to help others, often putting the needs of those she loved before her own. Her whole life was a reflection of what it meant to be a strong, good woman.
She was a proud and loving mother to her three children, Ruben Jr., Lorenzo, and Destinee Chavez. Her children were her greatest joy, and she poured her love, guidance, and strength into raising them.
Nannette had a special love for collecting crystals and had a true gift for finding the best deals—something family and friends admired and smiled about often. Beyond her hobbies, what defined her most was her kindness and willingness to lend a hand or a listening ear.
Nannette leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and compassion. She will be deeply missed by her husband, children, nieces, extended family, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will live on in the lives she touched and the love she gave so freely.
A visitation will be held at Draper Mortuary, located at 811 North Mountain Ave, Ontario, CA 91762, on February 17, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
