Nellie Vanderpol

Nellie Vander Pol of Ontario, California went to be with her loving Savior on August 20th,2017. Nellie was born to William and Tannie Verhoeven on July 28th, 1923 in Visalia, CA. where she spent her early years. Later the family moved to southern California. I was in Bellflower, CA. where she met and later married her husband, Ed Vander Pol. They lived in the Artesia area until they moved to Chino in 1964. They were married for thirty nine and one half years before Ed passed away in 1983. She later moved to Inland Christian Home. Nellie was a faithful member of the First Untied Reformed Church of Chino. She was a member of Mary Martha Bible Study and also enjoyed many other activities at her church. Nellie is survived by her children, Thelma (John) Driesen of Hermiston, Oregon, Harlene (Jeff) Van Andel of Tehachapi, CA., Ed (Deneise) Vander Pol of Chino, eight grand children, eighteen great grand children, two great great grand children, her brother, Martin (Leona) Verhoeven, sister, Henrietta Vander Schaaf, sister-in-law, Char verhoeven and many nieces and nephews. She has preceded in death by her husband Ed, grandson, Greg Driesen, great grandson, Ethan Henze, her parents and brother John Verhoeven.
