Patricia Ann Vargas

Our loving Mother and adoring Wife Patricia Ann Vargas age 69 entered eternal rest on December 22nd, 2023, joining her parents, Antonia, and Albert Castro, her loving two sisters Betty & Jane and brothers Eddie, Larry, Michael, and Delbert.

Patty was born on February 9th, 1954, she grew up in Ontario where she lived her entire life, up till her last moments in her home. She had just celebrated her 53rd wedding anniversary with the love of her life Ismael Vargas. She was loving, caring and would open her heart to anyone. Those left to cherish her memory and traditions are her three children, Ismael Jr, Monica and Gilbert, daughter/son-in-law Gina and Frank along with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She worked for Kingsley Elementary School cafeteria until she retired in 2016. She loved family gatherings, because she enjoyed singing, dancing, and having a good time, she always reminded us how tomorrow is never promised, and to always tell each other how much you loved them. Her favorite place was the casino where she played all the slot games alongside her loving husband. She couldn’t wait till Halloween and Christmas, she loved decorating and dressing up in her favorite costumes. Her favorite movies were The Wizard of Oz and Hocus Pocus. But most of all her happiest moments were simply loving us, cooking for us, and singing to us, oh how we loved her rice. We will forever remember her beautiful smile and welcoming heart, as a piece of us leaves with her, she will truly be missed, and we wait for the day to see her again.
