Richard Correia Souza was born on the Azores Island of Sao Jorge on Aug. 24, 1937. He passed away in Ontario, California on December 23, 2017.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Alice Souza, daughters Lynette Miller of Ontario, Ca/ and Suzilea Souza of Riverside Ca. and a son, Mark Souza of Ontario, Ca. 4 Grandchildren, Angela Miller of Lake Elsinore, Ca., Breanna Vera of Chino, Ca., Kayla and Christopher Koralewski of Riverside, Ca., and a Great-Grandson Dominic Soto of Chino, Ca. He also has 2 sisters Mary Silveira and Herminia Avila, a brother, Lino Sousa and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son Richard C. Souza Jr.
Richard moved from Portugal in 1954 at the age of 17. He is a retired Milker of 45 years and a resident of Ontario for over 60 years.
He was a member of St. Margaret Mary’s Catholic Church and a member of the Portuguese D.E.S Hall.
