Yesterday, father I was asked to speak about you and I elected not to at the cemetery. My Mother cried, brother and your adopted daughters did as well. I did not for I know heaven is peace and you are reunited with your father and mother. Faith in god is who my father is. Love for god is who he became. Their is no greater honor to have shared his love with family and friends. You have to learn how to love before you can help others. He did and he did it his way. That is who my father is to me.  Love for others. Quick wit and a good joke. Love you Dad good times.

It’s been almost a year to the day since you left us.  We all miss you and I try to make your faces with the grandkids so they remember you in me as well as Mike. You are always part of us no matter where we go. Love you Dad.

Words cannot express how much I will miss you Tio. You were always there for me whether it was a celebration or difficult times, I could always count on you. You were the example of what it means to be a father. You loved your family with all your heart and always wanted to help people. The last conversation we had was about helping those in need who were hungry. I will continue to help families in need in your honor. You will forever be in our hearts. I know you are in eternal paradise watching over us. Love you forever.

A lifetime of memories of Fito from high school, when I met Toni and Tessie around 18 years old, all the way til now at 62 yrs old!  
He has always been  a solid foundation of so many people's lives and the beautiful testimonies in this memorial prove it.   
Always had a smile, a good joke to tell, he even made me DVD copies of the Beatles cartoons, which I still have and watch!
Rest in Heavenly Peace Fito.  If you see my dad, please give him a hug from me and my mom!  

Rudy Sr. was such a good man! Was always amazed by the amount of stuff he could do.  It was easy to see the tremendous love he had for his family, immediate and extended. He would drop everything to help his family. I love the Martinez family and always thought of them as my second home and he as another father figure in my life. Much love and respect to him!

I met Rudy through work and we shared many years working for Xerox, we had many lunches and after work activities, then we realized we both loved soccer and we shared a lot of practices and games with the Corona Chivas (Toni and Irene thought we were crazy!)  I remember one weeknight tournament game we were going to get “refreshments” for the team he turned to me and with a smile he said “vamos por un seis de veintecuatro”!  It was  a real honor for me to share part of your life mi amigo! Till we meet again and I’m sure God will have a soccer field for us! I guess what I’m trying to say is that Rudy lived life to the fullest and from  the first day I met him , that smile never changed!  Tu amigo  Jess

Please accept my deepest sympathies for the loss of your husband, Rodolfo. My words cannot sufficiently express the sorrow I feel at this time. He was a great friend and colleague when I worked at Xerox. Fito was always helpful to me when I needed him. I will miss him and his big smile and great laughs. Fito is gone too soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this very painful time, please accept my sincere condolences.

My Tio FIto was at every family event. He built me a backdrop out of PBC pipes for my baby shower. He traveled with it in his van all the way to Ontario. He insisted on making it and always said, "its no trouble at all." He took pride in all that he did and always did it with so much love. He also helped with cleaning up after the party. I was more than blessed to know such a beautiful man to say the least. I will always honor him and keep him close to my heart. My heart is breaking and will never be the same without him by my side. Love you forever Tio Fito. You will always be with me. Love your baby always and forever.

We will cherish these memories forever. Love you tio Fito.

My uncle was always the jokester I remember being little and when we would eat he would always come over and say “ did you check it for poison?” Then proceed to take a huge bite and say it was good! He always genuinely wanted to know how things were going and always had encouraging words.

I am so Greatful to my father God that put this wonderful man in my life he was my mentor and love of my life.... he was an excellent father ,provider husband,grandfather ,friend I learned so much from him . He never thought twice on helping anyone who needed help he would hold my hand when we were out and about. I Thank the good Lord so much for the 45 years of love  how will I go on without his singing and his jokes making mel laugh constantly . I will miss having him my side and I will miss his kisses and funny faces I will miss calling him my clementine and he would sing the verse.. Until we meet again in Heaven my love my sweet clementine. Your wife that adores you so much,,,,,'
