Steven John Tidwell was born on August 1, 1984. He is survived by his; mother Kathleen Figueroa, father Steven Tidwell, brothers Brian Tidwell, Robert Tidwell and Corey Holmes, sister-in-law Tricia Tidwell, nephews Nathan and Andrew, and niece Brianna, grandmother Beatrice Sickles, along with aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. He was loved and will be missed by many. Steven was born in Upland California, attended school in Montclair and lived the majority of his life in Montclair and Ontario, California.
Steven was generous and compassionate beyond measure and smarter than he ever gave himself credit for. His laugh was contagious and frequent. Everything he loved was with a true passion, including Broncos football, DC United Soccer, Weezer, How I met your Mother, Rudy, Hamilton, and professional wrestling. He loved drama, history, politics, and was fascinated by genealogy. Steven volunteered as an AYSO referee, and he was always ready to lend a hand. He loved all sports and would be happy to chat about anything sports related. Steven also enjoyed being out and about, he loved our vacations to Aruba, Orlando, New York, and Washington DC. Mostly, Stevie loved his family and friends and was the proudest uncle in any room. He loved so much but one thing some might not know is he was truly terrified of birds, he was fun loving, kind, compassionate, and giving. Stevie never missed an opportunity to tell you he loved you. Through our grief and tears we know that Steven is with us, and knows how very dearly he is loved and missed.
A memorial service for Steven will be held Friday, October 15, 2021 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Draper Mortuary, 811 North Mountain Ave, Ontario, CA 91762. Following the memorial service will be a committal service from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Bellevue Memorial Park, 1240 W. G St., Ontario, CA 91762.
