Bertha Dianna Mounts

Bertha Dianna Mounts, age 71, of Mansfield, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Crestwood Care, Shelby, Ohio. She was born on October 20, 1954, in Crestline, Ohio, to the late Arvil G. and Dora M. (Conley) Gearhart.

She found joy in housekeeping and lovingly cared for many homes within her community. An excellent cook, she especially enjoyed baking. A devoted woman of faith, she shared a close relationship with the Lord and faithfully attended Apostolic Faith Assembly on Stadium Street. She was also musically gifted, blessed with a beautiful singing voice, and played the bass.

Bertha is survived by her children, Matt Mounts, Rachel Wilson, and Maria DeNero; grandchildren, Dakota Gatten, Savanna Mounts, Steven Wilson II, Michael Harris, and Miranda Harris; great-grandchildren, Xavier, Hendrix, and Ethen; siblings, Joan (Marc) Moore and Marilyn Armstrong, and many cherished family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her daughter Maria, Mark DeNero; husband, Paul Mounts; and granddaughter, Ceara Cooper.

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM-11:00AM on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Wappner Funeral Directors and Crematory-Ontario, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. A funeral service will follow at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Mansfield Memorial Park.
