Born March 19, 1942, in Mansfield, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Susie (Davenport) and Wesley Holborn. She graduated from Mansfield Senior High with the Class of 1960 and enjoyed weekly brunches with her classmates far beyond graduation. Cindy worked at Mohican State Park and was a part of the Pow Wow Community. She enjoyed helping in her community wherever and whenever she was needed. She formerly played the organ at the United Methodist Church. Cynthia also volunteered her time at Loudonville/Perrysville schools.
Being married to a retired Navy veteran, she experienced life in Pensacola, Florida, and ADAK, Alaska, just to name a few. She carried the traveling bug throughout her life and took every opportunity to find and visit new locales. She knew the importance and value of being with family and enjoyed every moment spent with them.
Cynthia is survived by three children, Katrina Gehring, Michael Ramsey and Seth (Arrgee) Ramsey; three grandchildren, Chantel Ramsey, Lia Drummond and Daniel Drummond; and one great-grandchild, Freja Harms. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Ramsey; and sister, Marilyn Karsmiski.
A graveside service will be held in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, at a future date.
