I was saddened to hear of Doug's passing.  I played tennis with Doug for many years and enjoyed much camaraderie and friendship on the court.   He was one of the first people I met when I moved to Mansfield in 1981.  We shared similar careers (printing) and frequently compared notes.  His sense of humor and good nature will be missed by all who knew him.  I'm a better man for having known Doug.  

I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. Doug will be greatly missed, he was always willing to help anybody. I played tennis with him for years and always enjoyed having him as a partner (win or lose). The world now has a void, I was blessed with being able to know Doug. 

We are saddened to find out about Doug’s passing.  We will miss our Friday night dinners at the Liederkranz with Doug. He was a fine man and a great athlete at tennis. He was so easy to talk to. So sorry Carol. RIP Doug

Doug was more than just a friend.  Although we were not blood related he was family.  We treasure the time we got to spend with him and Carol.  He was one of the hardest working people I have ever known.  We will miss him so much but know he is In a better place where there is no sickness.  We love you Carol and are always here for you.

Carol, please accept my sincerest condolences.  I always thought the world of you guys   you were always so kind to me.  I can remember Chuck and Karen visiting you guys in a yellow.house.on Park Ave. I may not have the right street but I definitely remember playing on the enclosed porch with all the windows.  Doug was.always smiling and so sweet and kind.  You too. God Bless

Doug was one of the best neighbors that we were graced to have. He was always willing to lend a hand, share a story or show his love and kindness to our dogs and our daughter. I'm going to miss our weekly current events talks, running into him having Chinese lunch, or him stopping me in the street to chit chat and hold up traffic. 

Doug was a very generous man  that always had a smile for everyone no matter how he was feeling.  He helped me for several year with my yard when I could no longer do it.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

We are so very sorry for your loss.  Doug was such a special friend of our family.  Our Mom and Dad thoroughly loved their visits from Doug!
