Jean Ardith Sprague

She was born November 13, 1938, in Butler, Ohio, to the late Carl and Lucille (Burrer) Sprague. Jean graduated from Mansfield Senior High School and retired from Ohio Brass after several years of service. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and was an avid reader. Jean had a huge space in her heart reserved for dogs and cats. She dearly loved her sister’s golden retrievers and they brought a big smile to her face.

Jean is survived by a sister, Carol Dill; two nieces, Karen (Doug) Bateman and Charlotte (Robert) Howell; a nephew, Carl (Sue) Sprague; and nine great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce (Ross) Levering; a brother, Charles (Beulah) Sprague; a brother-in-law, Bob Dill; and a niece, Charmaine Howell.

There will be no visitation or services at this time. She will be inurned at Mansfield Memorial Park. Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario is honored to serve the family.
