Scotty Catron, 80, of Mansfield, passed away on March 9, 2026 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born April 30, 1945, and lived a full life enriched by friends, family, and a passion for the open road.
He spent his life in Mansfield and retired from UPS after many years of service, forming several lasting friendships along the way.
Known for his humorous nature and love of the outdoors, he found great joy in riding motorcycles. It was more than a hobby - it was a passion he proudly passed on to his son. He also enjoyed NASCAR, landscaping, and the art of topiary.
He is survived by his two children, Jeffery (Toby) Catron and his wife, Amy, and Angie Fanello and her husband, Mick.
He was a grandfather to four grandchildren: Jacob Catron, Andy Catron, Caitlin Fanello, and Corinne Fanello, fiancée of Jakob Smith.
He is also survived by his longtime girlfriend, Diana, and his two sisters, Dottie Vaughn and Linda Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Nora Catron.
He found comfort in knowing he was ready to meet his Lord and Savior. His loved ones take peace in that assurance and will carry his memory in their hearts always.
He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
Scotty’s final ride has led him home.
In keeping with Scotty’s wishes, a private burial will be held.
