Mrs. Motta was born on July 7, 1923 in Jersey City, New Jersey, the daughter of Pasquale and Giovanna Vampatilla Gualtieri. She was a retired baker in a public grocery store. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in DeBary, Florida. She loved bingo and enjoyed needlepoint, cross-stiching and liked coloring in coloring books.
She is survived by two daughters, Marie-Ellen (Howard) Jaffe of DeBary, FL and Jennifer Fuller of Ormond Beach, FL; and two grandsons, Nicholas Fuller and David Jaffe; a brother, Mark Gualtieri; and a sister, Michelle (Alexander) Kwiatkowski of Brick, NJ; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Wednesday, February 8th from 11 am till 12:30 pm at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City, FL 386-775-4260. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 8th at 1:00 pm at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 26 Dogwood Trail, DeBary with Father David Gillis officiating. Entombment will immediately follow the mass at Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City, Florida.
