Benjamin Garcia SR, of Deltona, FL, age 73, received his "Angel wings" on August 14, 2018. A beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend made his final journey in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by his loved ones.
Benjamin was born November 7,1944 in Humacao, PR, the son of the late Raphael and Lydia Garcia. He was predeceased by his wife, Zonnia Garcia; sisters, Isabel Garcia, Conchita Garcia, Gloria Garcia, Victoria (China) Garcia, Josephine Garcia and brother, Americo (Ricky) Garcia. Benjamin is survived by his children, Lydia (Rolf) Garcia, Benjamin (Kathy) Garcia, Jr. and Joel (Debbie) Garcia; 12 grandchildren, one great-grandson; brothers, Ruben (Eva) Garcia, Raphael (Olga) Garcia; sister, Georgina Garcia; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, August 16th from 10-11 am at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City, FL, 386-775-4260, where funeral services will follow at 11am. Burial will be held in Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City, FL following the funeral.
