

The most important things in Betty June’s life were her love of God and love of her family. Betty June was a caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She will be truly missed in this earthly life by her daughters and their husbands; Debbie (Tim), Diane (Dale), Donna (Gary), and Denise (Norman). She was so loved by her 13 Grandchildren: Daniel (Joretta), Doug (Cindy), Tyler, Danielle (Joey), Daryn (Al) Dana (Austin), Devin (Alex), Robby (Lizz), Christine (Kevin), Stephen, Jessica (Eric), Vincent and Deanna. She also leaved her 9 great-grandchildren: Victoria, Sabrina, London, Gavin, Ava, Bennett, Berkley, Beckham and Adrian.
Betty June was one of 5 lovely girls and leaves behind three sisters Florence, Jeanette and Rita. She was predeceased by her younger sister Pauline (Mick). She also had many nieces and nephews that will miss their “Aunt Betty June”.
Betty June was a devout Catholic whose faith sustained her throughout her life. She was very involved with her church as well as many women’s groups until her health no longer permitted. She was a past president at St. Maximillian Kobe Church Women’s Club and ran their craft group and parish council as well as being a PTA president. At Our Lady of the Lakes she was the past president of the 3rd and 4th degree, Vice-President, treasurer, secretary and trustee for the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. In the Council of Catholic Women she served as president, treasurer, parliamentarian and Eastern Deanery Rep.
At Our Lady of the Lakes she was also an office angel, lecturer, chairman of the patriotic rosary and worked on the alter society, parish council, Alive in Christ and Why Catholic program.
Her community involvement included quilting club, Red Hats Society, bunco club, Deltona Women’s Club, Girl Scout leader, District Council for Girl Scouts and much, much more.
Betty June lived a full and busy life. A life that had always kept her close to God, family and friends.
Visitation is at the Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, on Sunday, December 10th from 5 – 7 pm. Her funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, December 11th at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church 1310 Maximilian St, Deltona FL.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Betty June’s honor may be made to VITAS Hospice in Brevard County, FL.
