Bonnie B. Black, 91, of Orange City passed away December 5, 2015 in Halifax Health Hospice. Bonnie was born in Blue Mound, Illinois on June 25, 1924, the daughter of Charles and Dena (Scoggins) Black. Bonnie was a homemaker. She married Jay Black, who preceded her in death in 1973.
Bonnie leaves behind to honor her memory, her niece Donna L. Barber of DeLand, as well as 6 grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister Dorothy Brookover, and nephew Charles Brookover.
Visitation will be held at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City, Florida 32763 on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in DeLand Memorial Gardens in DeLand Florida.
