Charlie R. Smith, age 50, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 after a short battle with leukemia. He was surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 9, 1964 in Darmstadt, Germany. He was a wonderful son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and nephew. He loved his little nieces and nephews. He graduated from high school in Yorktown, VA, but got most of his education overseas in div. military schools.
He is survived by his loving parents, Brigitte and Chuck Smith; brother, Tomas & wife, Brook; brother, Robert & wife, Blanca; nephews, Kilian and River and nieces, Sophia, Maiya, Gabriella and Jenevieve. Also, his Aunt Ingrid Ager and cousins, Peggy Sue and Richard, Uncle Bob Smith & wife, Terry and Uncle Bill Smith & wife, Lee and uncles, aunts and cousins in Germany.
A memorial service celebraring Charlie's life will be on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at 3p.m.
