Craig Coleman Johnson

Craig Coleman Johnson, 48, of Deltona, FL, beloved son, brother, husband and father, passed away Monday February 6, 2017 in Orange City, FL. Craig started his life at Ft. Rucker, AL. He graduated from Lake Mary High School in Seminole County. Following high school he spent three years in the US Navy aboard the USS America. When released from the Navy, Craig attended the Police Academy at Seminole Community College and became a certified law enforcement officer. He continued his education at SCC and received his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. Craig was honored to be hired by the Orange City, FL, Police Department where he served for 24 years. He initiated the Department's Honor Guard and proudly served as its leader.

He is survived by his wife, Marlene Johnson, his sons Christopher Johnson and Christopher Duckett, daughters Megan Johnson and Rachel Duckett, parents Richard and Susan Johnson and his brother Daniel Johnson. Craig is loved and will be missed by all who knew him; Rest In Peace, Craig. A celebration of Craig's life will be held at Deltona Lakes Baptist Church, 2886 Elkcam Blvd. A viewing for the public will begin at 10:00am, service at 12:00pm,and burial at 2:00pm at Deltona Memorial Gardens.
