age 81, of Deltona, FL, previously of Towanda, IL, passed away on April 19, 2013. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Deltona Alliance Church, 921 Deltona Blvd, Deltona, FL 32725. The Rev. Brad Stephenson will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Bloomington, IL.
David McDaniels was born on September 29, 1931 in Downs, Illinois, the son of David Oren and Minnie Mae (Glass) McDaniels. He married Carol Jean Mitchell on July 9, 1952 in Bloomington, IL. He served in the US Army from December 1949 to February 1953 in Guam.
He is survived by his children, Michael McDaniels of Amarillo, TX, Judy (Jim) Miller of Clarks Hill, SC and Jerry (Joyce) McDaniels of Deltona, FL; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carol, a daughter, Donna Jean Billingsley, a daughter-in-law, Shirley Janelle McDaniels and one grandchild.
