She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Larry Sims. She is survived by her husband George V. Rogers II; her grandson Larry Sims; her brothers James Sims and Leon Sims; her sister Shirley Sims; and her stepchildren George Rogers III, Kevin Rogers, Glenn Rogers, Dwight Rogers, Felicia Rogers and John Rogers. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 1, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, Florida 32763.
