Mr. Holtz was born in New Haven, Connecticut, the son of John Anthony and Augusta Riddle Holtz. He was united in marriage to Barbara Landino. He was a security officer in aviation prior to his retirement. He served in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; two sons, Bradford J. Holtz and Robert Holtz; two daughters, Susan Holtz and Amy Iezzi; four grandchildren, Michael, Bobby and Kevin Holtz and Michael Iezzi. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold "Bud" Holtz.
Graveside services will be held at noon on Monday, November 24, 2014 at Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City, Florida with Chaplain David Meyer officiating. Entombment will take place in the Garden Buildings..
