Einar J. Magnuson

Einar married Arlene Conrad Magnuson in July 1947 in McKeesport. They enjoyed 63 years of marriage until Arlene passed in December 2010. Einar was employed by TWA for 35 years. He enjoyed traveling the world, especially visiting relatives in Sweden. He was a member of Coraopolis Assembly of God church where he served as treasurer for many years and sang in the choir. Upon relocating to DeBary, FL, he continued his love for music by singing in the Calvary Assembly choir. He loved to golf and was an avid sports fan enjoying hockey and football.

He is survived by his daughters, Karen Edwards (Ron) of DeBary, FL, Nancy Peck (John) of Dearborn, MI, Shari McLaughlin (Tim) of Charlotte, NC and Son-in-law Wayne Chapman of Carmel, CA. Seven grandchildren Vanessa Chapman, Andrew Edwards, Brenton Edwards, Joe Peck, Erika Peck Irvin, Kayla McLaughlin Stanton and Linnea McLaughlin and 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Brown of Nashua, NH. Einar is preceded in death by his wife Arlene (Conrad) Magnuson and daughter Joy Chapman, his parents and 8 brothers and sister.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Oakview ALF of John Knox Village and Halifax Health Hospice for their loving care.

A Memorial Service will be held 10AM Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Deltona Alliance Church in Deltona with burial to follow at 1PM at Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City.
