

Elly, as she is know to friends and family grew up in New Jersey and graduated high school in 1953. She was married to Ralph Bond on September 19th, 1970 until his death in 1981. Elly worked at Publix in Florida for 15 years until her retirement in 2010. Elly’s favorite hobby was bowling. She bowled in leagues and participated in tournaments nationally for many years. At the age of 81 she bowled a 220-point game and amazed us all!
Her immense love for family and friends was always at the forefront of her life. She loved nothing more than playing cards and board games with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a faithful Bingo player for many, many years. She was competitive and strong-willed in every game she played. Elly’s humor and kindness stand out in our most cherished memories.
Elly is survived by her four children: Micheal Krall of Pennsylvania, Linda Pate of Deltona, Fla., Sandy Lyens of Cary, N.C., and Cindy Snell of Deltona, Fla. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren: Nicole, Jonathan, Jason, Alex, Kimberly, Chandler, Jacob, and Olivia. And her four great-grandchildren: Mckenna, London, Vayda, and Cass. She was proceeded in death by brother Charles. She has two surviving siblings: Robert of Milton, Fla. and Marie of Deland, Fla.
Elly’s family is planning a celebration of life this Summer when it is safe for people to gather.
