

Mr. Sapp was born on August 31, 1937 in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of John and Agnes Adams Sapp. He was united in marriage to JoAnn Whitten for 53 years. He was a baker at A & P Bakery in Baltimore for 37 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church. He was a long standing member of the Federation of Historical Bottle Collectors and the Whimsey Glass Club. Along with his wife, JoAnn, they traveled from St. Pete, Florida up the east coast to the New England area, Ohio, Denver and back looking for "bargains". He enjoyed crabbing in the Chesapeake Bay, cold beer in his earlier days, talking glass with his brother, Jimmy and playing tonk and pitch. He enjoyed fishing, antique dealing and collecting, flea markets, nature bottle digging and story telling.
He is survived by his loving wife, JoAnn; a son, Cecil (Teri) Sapp of Deltona, FL; a granddaughter, Madeline (Nick) Schoppert of Deltona, FL; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Emory Sapp II in 1996 and his brother, Jimmy.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, February 1st at 2:00 pm at Deltona Memorial Gardens in the Chapel of Peace with Father Kenny Aquino of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Deltona officiating. Inurnment will follow services.
Arrangements were entrusted to Deltona Memorial Funeral Home in Orange City.
