Geraldine A. Laughter

Geraldine A, Laughter, age 85 of St. Augustine, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022. She was born October 6, 1936, in Sykesville, Pennsylvania. She grew up and lived in Irwin, PA until she moved to Miami, Florida in the 60s. Later she lived in Central Florida and finally North Florida until her death.

She sold Avon for 36 years and became one of their top saleswomen during that time. Later she worked at Publix Supermarkets for 12 years until she retired. This was her favorite job because it allowed her the opportunity to talk and laugh, which she always did, with friends, coworkers, and customers. She was a member of Grace Community Church in St. Augustine, FL where she sang in the choir and loved to volunteer for vacation bible school. She took great pride in making counted cross-stitch pieces that she would gift to friends and family. She would sit and sew for endless hours to produce beautiful works of art.

Mother was a friend to everyone and would always have on her beautiful smile even during her last days on this earth. Momma, you will be missed every day! I love you…

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Robert C. Laughter, Sr. and she is survived by her daughter, Cindy Brueckner (son-in-law, Otto Brueckner); grandchildren, Hans Brueckner, Tammie Brueckner, Jeannie Walker, and Joshua Gilbert; and great-grandchildren, also need to mention her estranged son, Rick Walker.
