

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gladys Cordoba, age 100, of Deltona, Florida, who left us peacefully on May 7, 2025. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on December 30, 1924, Gladys lived a life filled with love, dedication, and adventure.
A proud graduate of Central High School in 1942, Gladys continued her education at the University of Puerto Rico, earning her Bachelor of Science degree. Her professional career as an Executive Secretary for Merck Sharp & Dohme exemplified her dedication and professionalism.
Gladys was a cherished member of her community, actively participating in the Minister of the Sick and sharing her compassionate spirit with others. She had a zest for life—her passions included traveling, scrapbooking, and socializing with friends and family, creating memories that will be fondly remembered.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hernan Cordoba Sr., with whom she shared many joyful years.
Gladys leaves behind her son, Hernan "Jr" (Alva) Cordoba; her grandchildren, Stephanie (Victor) Diaz and Robert Cordoba; and her great-grandchildren, Victor Diaz, Luna, and Alina Cordoba. Her warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Rest in peace, Gladys. Your legacy of love and friendship will remain forever in our hearts.
A visitation for Gladys will be held Monday, May 12, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763. A funeral service will occur Monday, May 12, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763. A committal service will occur Monday, May 12, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763.
