

He attended what is now Washington Adventist University in Takoma Park, MD. He was also privileged to study at The Peabody Conservatory of Music, Baltimore, MD to train his great Irish Tenor voice and often accompanied himself on the piano. He was the first to graduate with a Master of Divinity degree from the Adventist Theological Seminary, which was then in Takoma Park, MD. Then on to serve as a US Army Chaplain in Germany and after that as a Chaplain at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California for 10 years.
His pastorates included Wilmington, DE; Rochester, NY; Miami Temple Church, Miami, FL; Forest Lake Church, Apopka, FL; Kendall Church, Miami, FL; Bucks County, PA; DeLand, FL and finally , 17 years in Florida Living Church, Apopka, FL.
He lost the mother of his children, Patricia, to breast cancer in 1977 and also his second wife, Amee, to breast cancer in 1996. He is survived by his two children, Bryan Walsh of Nashville, TN and Bronwyn Jenkins of St. Cloud, FL and her husband, Robert and their two children, Bobby and Sam.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3rd from 1:30 - 2:30 pm at Forest Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church, 515 Harley Lester Lane, Apopka, FL. Services will be held at the church at 2:30 pm with Pastor Floyd Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City, Florida.
