Jeanne was a precious woman of God who created a household of faith and legacy in Christ that impacted generations. She used her Bible knowledge and personal relationship with Jesus to give no nonsense correction that pointed us back to God. She prayed, provided, corrected, and celebrated her five children and their families in all things. Her warm laugh, sense of humor and delightful singing voice brought joy to many over the years. She was a stay-at-home mom while raising her five children and sometimes caring for others' children who were in need. She did work for many years as the smiling voice of the telephone operator for Southern Bell. After her retirement, she moved to the Alliance Community in DeLand, Florida and became a loved seamstress for the residents, a worship pianist for local skilled nursing facilities and the onsite chapel. She loved to sing praises to her Savior and sang in the church choir. She will always be remembered as a lovely lady who was always finding joy in every circumstance and never hesitant to point you back to Jesus.
A a celebration of life service for Jeanne will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 101 N College St, Cedartown, Georgia 30125.
