John William Fields

He was born in Redding, California on April 2, 1938, and graduated from Morton High School in Morton, Washington.

He served in the Navy for four years and then worked for the Navy as a Civilian in the Defense Weapons Division. John was awarded the “Commendation for Meritorious Civilian Service” for his many accomplishments while working for the Navy until his retirement in April 1990.

After his retirement, John and his wife Joan traveled extensively throughout the country.

John was a loving husband and father who greatly loved his family and his job serving his country.

He was survived by a loving wife Joan N Fields, four children, nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, as well as two sisters.

The graveside service with military honors will be held at 10 am on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Deltona Memorial Gardens.
