

Deltona, FL, age 83, died on April 29, 2012. He was predeceased by his parents, Emory & Mary Ethel Eslin and brother, Richard. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Julia “Joan”; sister, Janice (Joe) Williams of Landover Hills, MD; nieces, Lorraine Folks and Loretta Williams; nephew, Brian Eslin; great nieces, Heather & Courtney Folks; great nephew, Joseph Williams. Jack worked for AAA (American Auto Assn.) for 47 years in Washington, DC and Falls Church, VA, where he met his wife, Julia. He was with the DC National Guard and US Army during the Korean War. Jack was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church for 22 years, Ministry of the Sick, Respite Volunteer, Knights of Columbus Council #6584, Bishop John Neumann #1930, American Legion Post #127 of Lake Helen and Council on Aging Meals on Wheels program.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 4th at 1 PM at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 1310 Maximillian Street, Deltona. A bereavement luncheon will follow Mass at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Burial will be Monday, May 7th at 11 AM in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Knights of Columbus # 6584 or to the American Legion Post # 127 of Lake Helen.
