I am so grateful that Jose was a part of my life while we worked in the Sheriff's Office together. No matter how hectic or busy my day would be, I could always go visit Jose in Purchasing and he would just smile and say "it is what it is". He ALWAYS did his best to help everyone that came to see him in purchasing and he was always smiling. He was the kindest soul that I ever met. He absolutely cherished his family and his faith in God was incredible and inspiring.  Our loss is certainly Heavens gain. Take care and God speed Jose - until we meet again.

To the Cruz Family,

So sad to hear Jose's passing. He was one of the nicest persons I have met, ever! He was very supportive when members of my own family passed. He was a true blue great person and he will be missed. Sending thoughts and prayers to the family.

Jose was one of the nicest people I had the pleasure of knowing and working with. Always so helpful and always with a smile. He will be missed.

It was a pleasure and honor to work with Jose.   He was the nicest person .  Always greeted you with a smile  and a kind heart.  He will be greatly missed by many however,  we have the comfort of knowing that he is rejoicing in the arms of our Heavenly Father.




Ven buen siervo fiel entra en el gozo de tu Senor. Dios ya te tiene en su Gloria mi muy amado y amigo Jose Cruz Pito como te llamaba mi amada muy amada Grisele.  Mis deseos hubiera sido verte antes que Dios te llamara a su presencia pero te anticipaste y ahora ruego al Senor por paz para tu esposa amada e hijos.  Cuantos bellos recuerdos que nunca olvidaremos. Tu hermana Gloria. 


El Senor necesitaba un Angelito y envio por uno de sus mejores. Pito gano sus alitas y ya esta en el Cielo con su sonrisa contagiosa y dispuesto a disfrutar su estadia junto al Senor Jesus. Gracias por ayudarme cuando lo necesite. Mis condolencias a toda la familia Cruz. Mis oraciones estaran con ustedes. 

Jose, my friend,  my pal, wonderful co-worker and true man of God. He was so kind,  gentle and a real gentleman. You could not have worked with a nicer person. I will miss him. He would do whatever he could and always with a smile. He will be missed. My prayers are for his family.

Gracias por dejarnos ver tu entrega al reino de nuestro Señor Jesús por medio de tus palabras sabías y tu instrumento musical.  Nos dejas un recuerdo de un hombre de paz y de agradecimiento por lo que Dios te permitió vivir.  Tu Casa SLE siempre recordará tus cabellos blancos y tu silencio presente.  Hasta pronto Santo De Dios. 

Jose, dejaste huellas del amor de Dios y tu legado musical no solo en tus hijos, sino también en los míos.  Nos veremos y adoraremos al Maestro, nuestro Señor Jesús, por la eternidad!  Descansa en paz.  Velaré por tu amada, mi querida Griselle. 

I was blessed to have the pleasure of working with Jose and he was a good friend.   Jose would do anything for anyone,  he truly love his job and the employees he helped on a daily basis.  God has another beautiful angel.  My love, thoughts and prayers are with his family.  God bless you all. 


To the Cruz Family,

We are all so very saddened by the loss of Jose. He was so amazing to work with and I'm glad I had the opportunity to know him. He always talked of his love for his family and enjoyment of being together for gatherings. This world is a better place, rest in peace my friend!
