

Juan Lebron Maldonado, age 96, went home to be with the Lord on January 5, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on February 17, 1929 in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. Juan, better known as Papa John, or Uncle Johnny, lived a long and meaningful life marked by unwavering faith, service to others, and deep devotion to his family.
A faithful servant of God, Juan was an active and dedicated member of his church for many years. His faith guided every aspect of his life, and he lived as a quiet but powerful example of kindness, humility, and love. He found great joy in worship, fellowship, and serving others, always putting God and family first.
Above all else, Juan was a devoted family man. His wisdom, gentle spirit, and steady presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family and all who had the blessing of knowing him.
Juan is survived by his wife, Carmen Lebron, and his children: Albert Lebron, Carmen Figueroa, Norma Santana, and Sandra Velez. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Judith Lebron. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and dear friends, all of whom were a great source of joy and pride in his life.
The family takes comfort in knowing that Juan is now at peace, rejoicing in Heaven and reunited with those who went before him. His legacy of faith, love, and service will live on through generations.

A visitation will be held at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, located at 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763, on January 15, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
The funeral service will follow at the same venue on January 15, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The committal service will take place at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, located at Q44J+Q9, Mims, FL 32754, on January 16, 2026, from 9:30 am to 10:00 am.
