Mrs. Kathleen Brumley, age 81, passed away and entered Heaven’s gates on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. She would surely say to each of us “This is not the end but the beginning. I am in a better place where Jesus has prepared my home. I have health, continued purpose and Heaven’s beauty to explore and roam.”
Kathleen is survived by her children Al Parker and wife Beth of Mission, TX, Joy Parker of Orange City, FL and Brian Brumley of Sanford, FL; her granddaughter Tara Walker of Orange City, FL; her grandchildren Kimberly and James Golden; her great grandchildren Adam and Abygail; her brother Richard (Pat); and her sisters Theresa, Rita and Joan. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald Brumley; her grandson Adam Parker; her parents; her brothers Barney, Bill and Joe; and her sisters Margaret and MaryLou.
Kathleen was a longtime member of the Lighthouse Church of Deland where she led prayers for many years. She devoted her life to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the Lighthouse Church, 1525 S. SR 15A, Deland, FL.
