

Kenneth trained as a master tailor in Jamaica W.I. and came to the New York City in 1959. He was a loving and caring man. While in the U.S., Kenny continued to care for family and friends in the island. He also lead the way for siblings and others to come to the United States, attain educational opportunities and live better lives.
He truly enjoyed working with and designing clothing for specialty customers and entertainers. He was also a loyal co-worker and friend to many at the Depository Trust Company in New York. His joy was to plant in his garden and to share produce with neighbors and friends.
Kenneth had four children Juliet Dawkins (deceased), Merline Dawkins, Joel Dawkins, and Errol Dawkins. He was also survived by three grandchildren: Nyala, Reni and RayRay, three step grandchildren: Patricia, Carolina, Oscar, an ex-wife, Sylvia; four great grandchildren, his sister-in-law Linnette Dawkins, many nieces, nephews, and friends worldwide.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday Nov. 11, 5-8 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, where funeral services will be Saturday 1 PM. Burial will follow services in Deltona Memorial Gardens, Orange City, FL.
