My Godfather is my father’s oldest friend, they met when they were 6!  He was my dad’s best man and he gave me my first job, flower girl when he and Cynthia got married.  

Kenneth was a great man who was kind, funny and loyal.  I loved his voice and his smile..  I will miss him, rest in love Kenneth.

Always a smile! My phone memory of Uncle ken! What a beautiful Union of he and his wife and his children! Blessings and peace to the family. Praying for comfort and reminiscent joy for memories.

Mr. G. I feel as if I’ve known you my whole life. But the thing I remember the most is the wide, welcoming smile you always had for me. Like an embrace of love. Kenneth was a  force of nature. He was a source of support to many. I can hear his distinctive voice leading the prayers during mass at St Alban the Martyr , “LORD IN YOUR MERCY”. So many fond memories, especially our trips to Aruba.  I know you’re enjoying your lamb chops at the heavenly banquet table . Thanks for your love and for all of the  memories. I will always remember Mr. Gooding as one of the nicest men at St. Alban The Martyr Church.  Always had a smile and cared about the youth.  Asked us how we were doing in school. When serving as an acolyte I was always nervous and he always calmed my spirit and made sure I never forgot when to ring the bells/chimes as we prepared for communion. 😊 He was the head of a wonderful loving family and I send prayers and hugs to you all.  Mr. Gooding, rest in power and rise in glory. 🙏🏽

Mr. Gooding was a gentleman and a wise watchman.  No doubt what was not said was prayed about and/or for.  His calm resolve to love and trust God are the unspoken lessons mirrored for those in need of such fortitude.  Words are not near enough to express my joy, my sadness and yet, my peace.  Until then, we’ll keep on singing…until the day our eyes behold the city…Until then Sir, that great gettin’ up mornin’, we will rejoice 🙏🏼❤️

My deepest condolences to this beautiful family. Mr. Gooding was one of the fantastic men of St. Alban the Martyr Episcopal Church. He loved everyone, including us young folks. It was a  privilege to grow up knowing this great man of God. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
