

Larry Edward Schooley, 80, of Orange City, Florida passed away on August 16, 2021. He was born on July 24, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Edward Dale and Juanita (Linhart) Schooley. Larry was in the United States Navy for a short time. He later retired from the Pembroke Pines Police Department as the Lieutenant after 34 ½ years.
Larry hobbies included photography and had a love for growing and cultivating Bonsai trees and Orchids. In addition, he made jewelry not only for the public but for the Fraternal Orders as well. He was very creative He was a member of the Advisory Board for the Rainbow Girls in Hollywood, FL as well as being a Mason, serving as Past Master for a couple of Lodges along with being a member of the Eastern Star, serving as well as Past Patron for several Chapters.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Rhonda Schooley.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Cynthia J. Schooley; daughter, Erica (Eduardo) DeParedes; brothers, Russell and Douglas Schooley and two grandchildren.
A private family service has been planned due to the up spike of COVID.
