

Leah Keturah Pollard Williams, 83, of Deltona, Florida, formerly of Anderson, Indiana died Tuesday, February 12th in DeLand, Florida. Mrs. Williams was a native of Port Elizabeth, Bequia, St. Vincent in the British West Indies. She had been a teacher, a licensed practical nurse and beautician, as well as a painter and a poet. She was predeceased in 2011 by her husband of more than 50 years, the Rev. Donald E. Williams. Her children survive: Donald E. Williams, Jr. of DeLand, FL; Celeste J. (John) Williams Fisher of Indianapolis, IN and Michelle A. Williams of Deltona, FL; her beloved granddaughter, Cheyenne A. Williams of Deltona, FL; a grandson, Michael Lawler of Louisiana; a brother, Innis (Glenda) Kydd of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and a sister, Brenna (Grafton) Primus of London, England and their families, as well as many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
A memorial service will take place at 3:30 pm on Saturday, February 16th at the West Volusia Care Center of Halifax Health Hospice, 1625 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Orange City. Memorial contributions may be made to: Friends of the Bequia Library, Port Elizabeth P.O., Bequia, St. Vincent, West Indies. Private Burial will be at a later date.
Arrangements were entrusted to Deltona Memorial Funeral Home in Orange City, Florida.
