Predeceased by her parents, Juan and Mariana Melendez, her husband, Juan A. Diaz, Sr., her son, Juan Diaz, Jr. and siblings, Johnny Melendez, Carmen Melendez and Luz M. Valle. Survived by her brother, Moises Melendez (Gochie), her daughters, Edith Fernandez (Mingo), Norma Ramirez (Manny), Carmen Delgado and daughter-in-law, Kim Diaz. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, Feb 10 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm in the Deltona Memorial Funeral Home,1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City 386-775-4260. Life Celebration service will take place on Wednesday, Feb 11 at 9 am, with interment following in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Inverness, Florida.
